Wirksworth UDC -Wash Green, Breamfield and Ladyhole

The present day reservoir and treatment works are roughly located where the Bleach Works Mill Ponds are shown on this map. On this c1900 Map (left to right):
1. Unknown tank - possibly a private supply. 2. 'Tank Covered Wirksworth UDC' (middle top of map) The location may have been right next to the road near to the junction of St Helen's Lane. There is a small stone structure here with a small rusty door. (see photo) 3. 'Reservoir (covered) Wirksworth UDC' - probably the barn structure shown in the previous photos. Collected water from nearby spring and also pumped from from Wigwell and Ladyflatts and Derwent Valley.
On this c1900 Map (left to right):
