Commissioned in 1952?? by Shardlow Rural District Water Department. Taken over by South Derbyshire Water Board in 1961 and abandoned by Severn Trent Water c.2002. This was known as Little Eaton Pumping Station: The Little Eaton pumping station was opened in 1937 and the reservoir at “Drum Hill” was brought into use. The reservoir was later called Little Drum Hill when the large reservoir also called Drum Hill was built by Derby Corporation Water Works.
