The Whitesprings Reservoir (North Darley Urban District Water Works) was supplied by 3 springs. Shining Spring, Woodbrook Quarry Spring (off map to north) and Whitesprings Well. The Shining Spring and Woodbrook Spring may have been abandoned pre South Derbyshire Water Board.
