Says Russ Boyack:
'Wards End booster pump. This pumped water up into Riber res. After the res was abandoned it boosted water into the distribution system. Riber res was a lead lined tank in one of the turrets of Riber Castle. I was told that shortly after it was abandoned the lead went missing!!'
