Homesford WTW
Homesford Water Works c.1900
Ilkeston and Heanor Waterboard Water Works at Homesford.

This was probably taken from the canal near to the entrance to Gregory Tunnel. The River Derwent is hidden by the trees in the foreground. The building on the left is the pump room and the treatment process is the building with the large chimney. Only one of the 2 houses on site is built. The Midland Railway runs just behind the pump house and the superintendent's house. Beyond the railway is the A6 and the Worker's houses and the Homesford Cottage Inn.
